The City’s Open Data Portal is intended for a variety of uses.
First and foremost, this collection of resources is directed at
providing more straightforward ways to communicate information to
our customers, residents and civic partners within the community.
These tools seek to promote the City’s Core Values of Financial
Accountability; Fairness, Honesty and Integrity; and Open, Clear
and Frequent Communications.
The City of Redlands Community Survey data collection phase
closed on Sept. 16. Results of the survey will be presented to
the Redlands City Council at their Nov. 2 meeting.
During the first weeks of August, the City launched a
comprehensive quality of life survey inviting randomly selected
residents, representing a cross section of the City’s population,
to provide direct input to the local government decision-making

comprehensive information to the public regarding compensation
for both City employees and elected officials. While this
information has always been available on request, in August 2010,
The City of Redlands began posting salary and benefit information
for all elected officials, directors and managers on the City
website. In addition to salaries, the information included a
comprehensive listing of benefits.
