The City’s Open Data Portal is intended for a variety of uses.
First and foremost, this collection of resources is directed at
providing more straightforward ways to communicate information to
our customers, residents and civic partners within the community.
These tools seek to promote the City’s Core Values of Financial
Accountability; Fairness, Honesty and Integrity; and Open, Clear
and Frequent Communications.
The 2022 Redlands Community Survey closed for participation on
City staff worked with independent consultant Polco to develop
the survey. The instrument, known as The National Community
Survey™, will allow the City to compare results and benchmark
residents’ opinions against other communities across the country,
as well as against the 2021 Redlands Community Survey. The survey
included questions about quality of life, important
characteristics of community, services provided by Redlands and
priorities for the future.
The City of Redlands recognizes its responsibility to provide
comprehensive information to the public regarding compensation
for both City employees and elected officials. While this
information has always been available on request, in August 2010,
The City of Redlands began posting salary and benefit information
for all elected officials, directors and managers on the City
website. In addition to salaries, the information included a
comprehensive listing of benefits.
