The Communications and Community Relations Office is responsible
for the regular dissemination of public information about the
City of Redlands through various communications vehicles,
including social media, news releases to the media, Redlands TV
and other public forums. The Public Information Officer hosts
press conferences, writes press releases and articles for
publication in magazines and newsletters, manages the City’s
social media platforms and helps coordinate public events.
The Communications and Community Relations Office also
oversees the City’s Government Access cable TV channels 3
(Spectrum customers) and 35 (Verizon customers). The
Communications and Community Relations Office includes the
Redlands TV video unit, which produces original programming
regarding municipal services for Redlands TV.
News releases from the City of Redlands and the Redlands Police
Department are available to the press and the public online
through the City of Redlands Newsroom.
