Department, Economic Development Division public counter is now
open for services between the hours of 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, closed
alternating Fridays. To minimize impacts of potential
COVID-19 exposure, there is currently no waiting in the lobby
area of the Development Services Department. Please respect

forming a line using the available ground place markers and

The Economic Development Division administers a variety of
economic development programs and services that support
businesses and residents in the City of Redlands. Division staff
is involved in business retention and attraction
activities, business networking, marketing, workforce
development, tourism and project support.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 established Opportunity Zones as a mechanism to provide tax incentives for investment in designated U.S. Census Tracts. Investments made by individuals through special funds in these zones would be allowed to defer or eliminate federal taxes on capital gains.
The City of Redlands has one (1) Opportunity Zone, which includes Census Tract 80.02, identified in the map below.
