NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Redlands encourages residents to apply for a position on the following commissions and/or boards.

Residents interested in applying for the non-salaried position on these commissions may click on the following link to obtain an application. Applications may also be obtained in person at the City Manager’s Office, City Hall, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 200. For more information please call 909-798-7510.

Cultural Arts Commission
Filing Deadline July 29, 2019

The Cultural Arts Commission promotes public interest in arts, recommends new arts programs and sources of funding for those programs, assists the City Council by recommending policies to encourage, develop and support the arts in Redlands, and advises the City Council in the administration of the City’s “Art in Public Places” program.

The Cultural Arts Commission meets bi-monthly on the second Monday of odd-numbered months at 4:00 p.m.

Citrus Preservation Committee
Filing Deadline July 29, 2019

The Citrus Preservation Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters pertaining to the acquisition, improvement, preservation and retention of citrus properties within the City.

The Citrus Preservation Commission meets every month on the second Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in the Municipal Utilities Department, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 15A.  Residents of Redlands and surrounding communities are encouraged to apply.

Municipal Utilities/Public Works Commission
Filing Deadline July 22, 2019

The Municipal Utilities/Public Works Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council and advises and assists the Municipal Utilities and engineering Director, City Manager and other city departments by providing citizen review and input concerning all aspects of the management and operation of public works projects and facilities, thereby providing a direct channel for utilization of the citizen expertise available in the community.

This Commission meets on the first Monday of even-numbered months at 4:00 p.m.

Street Tree Committee
Filing Deadline July 22, 2019

The Street Tree  Committee shall be advisory to the City Council and shall recommend policies for the planting, care and removal of trees and shrubs in all parkways in the City.

The Street Tree Committee meets bi-monthly on the fourth Thursday of even- numbered months at 5:30 p.m.
