Redlands Police Department (RPD) is currently taking steps to
minimize potential effects of the COVID-19 virus within the
community. To protect and promote the health of department
members and residents, the following precautions will be in place
until further notice:
The Records Unit is open Monday through Thursday from 12 pm to 4
pm. Masks are required, and only one person will be allowed in
the lobby at a time. All emergency services are still
available 24/7, and as always, residents should dial 911 to
report emergencies or (909) 798-7681 ext. 1 to speak to a member
of the department regarding non-emergencies. Telephones
with direct lines are located in front of the RPD Station (1270
W. Park Avenue) and Administrative Offices (30 Cajon Street).
Officers will be available to take telephone reports and to speak
to members of the community over the phone. Online
reporting should also be utilized when applicable.
Requests for copies of reports can be also submitted via
email by emailing the request along with a copy of the
requestor’s identification to records@redlandspolice.org.
Customer Service Representatives will respond to email inquiries
as they are received. (The digital report
acquisition process offers residents the added convenience of
submitting a request for a report at any time from the comfort of
their home or other computer, as they are no longer limited to
submitting in-person requests during normal business hours at the
Redlands Police Department Records Unit.) The
Records Unit can be reached by phone at (909) 798-7614.
Telephones are answered from 10:00 a.m. — 4:00 p.m. Monday
through Thursday. Records is closed to the public on
Fridays, weekends, and holidays.
The Records Section serves as clerical support to all members of
the Police Department and is responsible for customer service at
the main facility front counter.
