Facilities and Community Services Redlands Recreation and Senior Services

With the continuously evolving COVID-19 crisis, the City of Redlands Recreation Divison has temporarily closed the Redlands Community Center and both Joslyn and Lugonia Senior Centers, as well has suspended all programming and reservations in our buildings. However with our facility closures in effect the Redlands Recreation Division will continue to dedicate ourselves to serving our community by providing and promoting fun and enriching recreational programming that you can enjoy in the safety of your home though with virtual recreation programming or in-person at city parks. We have taken necessary precautions with our in-person programs to ensure the health and safety of participants. Please visit our website often as updates will be posted regularly.

In addition, we are working with members and businesses of our community to provide support to our Seniors who are at high risk during the COVID-19 crisis. The services we are able to provide includes weekly frozen food packages through the Family Service Association, care packages for seniors, our never alone program, and social engaging programs via Zoom.

Pickleball

We want your feedback on the design for Pickleball Improvements at the Redlands Community Center. The tennis courts at the community center, located just west of Orange and Lugonia, have been used as temporary Pickleball courts for the past two years to support the growing interest in the sport. The four courts currently offer opportunities for play and recreation, as well as a local amenity for Redlands residents to enjoy the sport of Pickleball.
