The City of Redlands Recreation Divison will start moving towards reopening the division’s recreation/senior center facilities with some restrictions to visitors. Starting April 5th, 2021 the gymnasium at the Redlands Community Center (111 W Lugonia Ave) will reopen with a max capacity of 40 people. At this time the division is allowing dance and fitness classes and court rentals to resume between the hours 10:00am – 7:00pm, Monday thru Friday. The tennis courts will continue to remain open. All visitors to the gymnasium will be required to check in and will only be allowed to enter with the instructor present. NO OPEN GYM until further notice. The Joslyn Senior Center and the Redlands Community Senior Center will remain closed.

The Redlands Recreation Division will continue to provide fun and enriching recreational programming that you can enjoy in the safety of your home with virtual recreation programming or in-person sport classes at city parks. We have taken necessary precautions with our in-person programs to ensure the health and safety of participants. Please visit our website often as updates will be posted regularly.

Saturday Morning Certified Farmers’ Market

Redlands Farmers' Market

The market is located in the parking lot on Redlands Boulevard between Fifth and Sixth streets next to Ed Hale’s Park.

Certified farmers’ markets are an excellent opportunity for local growers to sell their crops directly to the consumer. All certified farmers are inspected by the Department of Agriculture to ensure that their crops are locally and seasonally grown and safe for consumers to purchase. There is something for everyone at the Redlands Saturday Morning Farmer’s Market. From certified farmers’ selling fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh honey and olive oil, to small business selling bread and pastries, french macarons, loose leaf teas, marinades and more!

Community Gardens

The City of Redlands Community Gardens is a fulfilling, inexpensive way to grow organic fruits and vegetables and provides a relaxing place to socialize with other residents who enjoy similar activities.

The city operates three community gardens with a total of 85 rentable plots which are managed by the Redlands Recreation Division. Our community gardens are governed by our Conditions of use including a Waiver and Release of Liability agreement. To be eligible for a garden plot you must be a resident of Redlands. Only one plot is allowed per family/household. Plots are non-transferable.

Bicycle Master Plan

The City of Redlands Bicycle Master Plan provides a vision for improving the bicycling environment by providing direction for the expansion of the existing bikeway network, connection of gaps, recommendations for bicycle support facilities, and education and awareness programs.
