The Friends of Redlands Skate Park with the support of the Rotary Club of Redlands, Optimist Club of Redlands, and the City of Redlands is pleased to offer the Don Gifford Skate Park Classic.  This free skate park event designed for youth ages 6-18 years old, will be held Saturday January 22^nd from 9:00 a.m. -3:30 p.m.

This January will mark the 3^rd anniversary of the Redlands Skate Park, and to celebrate this, as well as Don Gifford’s tireless work to bring this park to life, the Friends of Redlands Skate Park invite you to join in this celebration. 

Kids and kids at heart will have an opportunity to compete against each other for prizes and gift cards from local businesses and other sponsors.  Competition will include skaters, BMX riders and scooters in different age groups ranging from 6 – 18 all judged by professional riders.  There will be a BMX demo in the morning, competitions throughout the day, including food provided to all youth participants.

Registration for this event will be available on-site at the Redlands Skate Park located at Sylvan Park only the day of the event from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.  Festivities are free and open to the public for all to enjoy. Participants will be required to follow the rules of the facility including wearing a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads to compete. 

ALL RIDERS ARE REQUIRED TO FILL OUT A WAIVER TO PARTICIPATE. PARENT OR LEGAL GURDIAN WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN THE WAIVER.
