The City of Redlands Recreation Division will host a free throw competition for children ages 4 to 15 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at the Redlands Community Center gymnasium, 111 W. Lugonia Ave. Registration is required. Fee is $2 per child.

The free throw competition will feature contests for age ranges 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, and 13-15. Prizes will be awarded to the first-place winner in each age category, as well as raffles during the event. Each registered child will be provided food and a gift bag.
