City to begin enforcement of timed parking in downtown

A map of free and timed parking areas throughout downtown Redlands.

The City of Redlands will begin enforcing posted public parking times in the downtown area beginning Monday, March 18.

Timed parking enforcement will occur Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., but not on weekends or holidays. An initial grace period of two weeks will be permitted, with full enforcement beginning in April. At that time, violators of the posted public parking times will receive a warning for a first parking offense. If a second violation occurs within six months of the initial violation, vehicles will be cited.
