Special Events Insurance
The City of Redlands offers Special Events Insurance for individuals utilizing City facilities for their events through Alliant’s Special Events Insurance Program. To obtain a quote for insurance coverage and have a Certificate of Insurance (COI) issued for the event, the City requests that you complete a Special Events Insurance Application and submit it to the Risk Management Division for consideration. Based on the answers to the questionnaire about your event, as well as your responses to any additional inquiries that may arise, a premium will be quoted for your event. Once received it is your choice whether to accept or reject the quote, and make a payment for Certificate of Insurance (COI).
HOW TO APPLY FOR CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE
2. Complete Special Events Insurance Application and submit to:

3. Receive a premium quote for your event from Risk Management department.
A quote will be emailed to you at the email you provided on the application, from a Risk Management staff member. Please call if you have any questions regarding your quote or insurance information at 909-798-7514.
4. Make Payment and Pick-Up the Certificate of Insurance:
If you accept the quote for insurance, please contact Risk Management at email@example.com to schedule an appointment to make payment and receive your Certificate of Insurance. The City can accept cash, check and credit card. Please note there is 4% processing fee for credit card. The City cannot accept credit card charges over the phone.
Once payment is received, the Certificate of Insurance will be issued to you.
HOW TO PROVIDE A CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FOR YOUR EVENT
It is your option to purchase the premium at the quoted amount, but if you still wish to host the event, you may provide the City with a Certificate of Insurance that fulfills the Special Events Insurance Questionnaire. See attached for coverage limits and details.
