Join us after the Redlands Senior Lunch program for dessert for informative and lively presentations.

Come find out what’s new at the museum with the Curator of History, Jennifer Dickerson at the Redlands Community Senior Center’s Dessert and Dialogue program at 12:30 p.m. Monday, September 16th.

Ms. Dickerson will be discussing the following four new exhibits at the museum:

  • Mineral Rock! Unearthing the Human Element
  • Pulp Culture: A Juicy Tale in the Orange Empire
  • Explore our Ethnobotany and Desert Gardens
  • Crossing the Cosmos: Mesoamerican Music, Masks, and Mysteries.

Ms. Dickerson will also briefly discuss the two upcoming exhibits opening in September (Bear in Mind: The story of the California Grizzly opening in the Schuiling Gallery and a Hispanic Heritage Month Art Exhibit, A History of Serving Our Nation, opening in our Fisk Gallery)

This presentation will take place on Monday, September 16th, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. after the Senior Nutritional Lunch Program at the Redlands Senior Center. Participants are encouraged to enjoy the “hot meal” program starting at 11:30 p.m. The hot meals are open to all adults with a suggested donation of $3 for those 60 or older and guests under 60 may enjoy lunch for a $6 fee. Dessert will be provided during the presentation for free.
