Dessert & Dialogue: Route 66

The program will focus on the evolution of Route 66 with emphasis on arriving from the Mojave Desert, meandering through the Cajon Pass and exiting the valley along Foothill Blvd. From its days as a wagon road, through the era as the National Old Trails Road and into its heyday as “The Mother Road”, The “Business Route 66″ and the era of “E Street Cruising” in San Bernardino. Dessert & Dialogues are a monthly speaker series that takes place after the senior nutritional lunch program at the Redlands Senior Center. Participants are encouraged to enjoy this “hot meal” program starting at 11:30am. The hot meals are open to all adults with a suggested donation of $3 for those 60 or older and guests under 60 may enjoy lunch for a $9.75 fee. Dessert will be provided during the presentation for free.
