Robbery suspect arrested in Perris linked to Redlands robberies

Feb. 21, 2018 – Riverside County Sheriff’s detectives on Tuesday arrested a man suspected in a string of armed robberies, including two earlier this month at fast food restaurants in Redlands.

Anthony Sergio Munoz, a 27-year-old transient most recently living in the Perris area, was arrested Tuesday at a home in the 500 block of Bond Drive, in Perris.

Munoz is charged with armed robberies in Perris, Long Beach, Fullerton and Yucaipa as well as the robbery of a Subway restaurant at 1562 Barton Road and a Yoshinoya restaurant at 2072 Redlands Blvd. Both Redlands robberies occurred within less than an hour span on Thursday, Feb. 8.
