Healthy Meals for Seniors

The City is partnering with several organizations to assist Redlands senior citizens who need assistance. These supplemental programs are possible, thanks to assistance from the Family Service Association of Western Riverside County, Redlands Meals on Wheels, and Redlands Community Foundation.

The Healthy Meals for Seniors is a temporary program for all senior citizens who live in Redlands.

Family Service Association Drive Thru Meal Packets

In partnership with Family Service Association of Western Riverside, The Redlands Senior Center is offering packages of five meals, fruit and milk to residents ages 60 and over at the Redlands Senior Center, 111 W. Lugonia Ave. The meals are available for curbside pickup by reservation only each Wednesday.  To reserve a meal please contact the senior helpline, 909-798-7579.

Packages are limited to one per person per week.

Meals on Wheels

The Redlands Senior Services Division has teamed with Redlands Meals on Wheels, and the Redlands Community Foundation to provide Meals on Wheels to Redlands seniors who are at high risk, and unable to leave their homes.

City employees can deliver hot meals and provide a daily welfare check-in Monday through Friday. To reserve a meal please contact the senior helpline, 909-798-7579.

Redlands Community Foundation Senior Supplemental Aid Package

The Redlands Senior Services Division has teamed with the Redlands Community Foundation to provide senior supplemental aid packages to Redlands seniors who are at high risk, and unable to leave their homes.

Packages can include milk, canned meats, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, cheese, rice, pasta, fruit juice, cereal, toilet paper, paper towels, gloves, masks, and other sanitation supplies.

Packages can be delivered by city employees to Redlands residents or be picked up by appointment only at the Redlands Senior Center.  To reserve an aid package please contact the senior helpline, 909-798-7579.
