Community Involvement

Jenna has made Redlands her home base since her birth here in 1989. She has been highly involved in the community from a very young age. She has been a significant part of the YMCA community, Great Y Circus, CCAC, as well as the Armantrout Montessori Education Foundation. Jenna received her Bachelors of Arts in Cinema Studies with a minor in anthropology from California State University, Fullerton. Jenna worked with the American Circus Educators, American Youth Circus Organization and Cirque du Monde on efforts to understand the ways that social circus improves the social and emotional lives of youth in impacted communities. This ultimately led her to return to the academic environment at California State University,  Fullerton where she received her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She currently works as a mental health therapist for youth and adults throughout the inland empire. She believes in the importance of creating caring communities through infrastructural changes that make the lives of those in Redlands more equitable, happier, and better overall.
