What Can I Recycle?

Please do not contaminate your recycling cart with trash and/or yard waste. All materials placed in your blue cart should be relatively clean, dry and empty. 

NO plastic bags in the recycle bin. Let your recyclables be free inside the bin. 

PLASTICS NO. 1-3,5,7 MIXED PAPER & NEWSPAPER
  • Milk, juice, soda and water bottles
  • Yogurt, dairy and margarine tubs
  • Shampoo and conditioner bottles
  • Detergent and fabric softener bottles
  • Clean garden pots or flats
  • Disposable plates and cups
  • Newspaper (with inserts)
  • Magazines/ catalogues
  • Junk mail (remove free samples)
  • White & colored paper
  • Brown paper bags
  • Paperback books
  • Envelopes with plastic windows
  • Clean (no grease) pizza boxes (remove pizza)
ALUMINUM & TIN (labels may stay on) CARDBOARD
  • Clean steel or tin cans (e.g. tuna cans)
  • Pie tins
  • Clean aluminum foil
  • Aluminum food & soda cans
  • Empty Aerosol paint cans
  • Cardboard
  • Cardboard (soda/beverage carriers)
  • Binboard (e.g. cereal boxes, plastic liner removed)
  • Milk cartons

  • Any color, remove lids from jar,

  • 18 inches or less, small pieces of PVC and ABS pipe. Larger pieces are considered construction debris. Contents must be under 1/4 of curbside cart.
