Flying a Drone in Redlands
If you are flying a drone outdoors for hobby, recreational, or commercial use weighing more than 0.55 lbs. but less than 55 lbs., within five miles of an airport you must notify the adjacent airport(s) and FAA . (NOTE: It is the responsibility of the operator to ensure they are in full compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local rules)
Owners of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) used for commercial purposes must register as required by Federal regulation. Completion of this form will meet the FAA notification requirements to the airport and FAA, but will not meet Section 333 of Public Law 112-95 exemption requirements.
