In an effort to slow the current COVID-19 surge, most City offices will be closed to in-person service beginning Tuesday, Jan. 18, through at least the end of the month. City employees will continue to offer services online and over the phone. All emergency services are still available 24/7, and as always, residents should dial 911 to report emergencies or (909) 798-7681 ext. 1 to speak to a member of the department regarding non-emergencies.  Telephones with direct lines are located in front of the RPD Station (1270 W. Park Avenue) and Administrative Offices (30 Cajon Street). Officers will be available to take telephone reports and to speak to members of the community over the phone.  Online reporting should also be utilized when applicable.

The Front Lobby of the Station is currently closed to the public.  Requests for copies of reports should be sent to records@redlandspolice.org.  Customer Service Representatives will respond to email inquiries as they are received.   The Records Unit can be reached at (909) 798-7614.  Telephones are answered from 10:00 a.m. — 4:00 p.m.

The Animal Shelter is currently closed to the public.  Animal adoptions will continue to be by appointment only.  Pet Harbor can also be utilized by the community to view adoptable pets and found animals currently at the Shelter.  The Animal Shelter can be reached at (909) 798-7644. Telephone hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Animal care services will continue seven days a week.

Ride-alongs will not be provided at this time. Additionally, the RPD Citizen Volunteer Unit and the Animal Shelter Volunteer Unit are temporarily suspended from service as a precautionary measure to protect the health and safety of our volunteers.

The RPD encourages everyone to follow state and national recommendations on social distancing and to practice healthy hygiene habits.  Thank you for your understanding and joint efforts in promoting the health and wellbeing of our community.
