City-Owned and Operated Parks

The Parks Division maintains 18 established parks, which comprise over 253 acres of land, and all median islands along City streets. They also maintain the grounds surrounding a number of City facilities such as the Civic Center.

Brookside Park

Location: 1630 Brookside Avenue

Brookside Park, a 9.2 acre neighborhood park with picnic and playground facilities. The park is located on Brookside Avenue between Terracina Boulevard and Bellevue Avenue.

Caroline Park

Location: Sunset Dr & Mariposa Dr

A 16.8 acre nature park with trails and open space planted with native California plants and a water conservation garden.

Community Park

Location: San Bernardino Ave. & Church St.
An 18.2 acre park with lighted baseball fields, picnic and playground facilities.

Ball Fields will be open for reservations during:

Monday-Friday 4:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-3:00pm.

Crafton Park

Location: Wabash Ave & Independence Ave
A 7.5 acre neighborhood park with lighted soccer field, picnic and playground facilities.

Ed Hales Park

Location: 101 E. State Street
A 0.7 acre downtown park with picnic facilities. The park is located in the downtown central business district at State Street and Fifth Street.

Location: Franklin Ave & Garden Street

A .6 Acre natural open space area.

Ford Park

Location: Parkford Dr & Redlands Blvd
A 27 acre park with a duck pond, picnic areas, lighted tennis courts and Redlands Dog Park.

Heritage Park

Location: On Orange Ave. between Iowa St. & Nevada St.
An 18.4 acre natural park reflecting the history of Redlands.

Israel Beal Park

Location: Colorado St & Riverview Dr
A 7.8 acre neighborhood park with open grassy areas, picnic areas, playground equipment, basketball courts, trails and nature study. The park borders the Santa Ana River wash at River View Dr. at Furlow Dr. and Colorado St.

Jennie Davis Park

Location: 923 W. Redlands Blvd
A 5.2 acre neighborhood park with playground facilities. Location of annual Veteran’s Day Parade and Celebration hosted by the Hometown Heroes Foundation.
The park is located at Redlands Boulevard and New York Street.

Oakmont Park

A 14.6 acre park with picnic areas and nature trails

Prospect Park

Location: 1352 Prospect Dr.

An 11.4 acre natural park with trails and picnic facilities. The park contains the Avice Meeker Sewall Theater, an outdoor amphitheater with seating for 400+. The theater is home to the Redlands Summer Theater Festival. The park is located at Cajon Street and Highland Avenue.

Simond’s Parkway

Location: Garden St. & Rossmont Dr.
A 0.9 acre neighborhood park. The park is located at Garden Street and Rossmont Drive.

Smiley Park

Location: 126 S. Eureka St.

A 9.2 acre park at the Redlands Civic Center. This park is home to A. K. Smiley Public Library, a facility listed on the National Register of Historic Places; the Lincoln Shrine, containing the largest collection of Abraham Lincoln memorabilia west of the Mississippi River; and the Redlands Bowl, an outdoor amphitheater with seating for approximately 4,000 persons where summer concerts are performed each Tuesday and Friday evening during July and August. The park is located at Eureka Street south of Vine Street.

Sylvan Park

Location: University St. between Colton Ave. and Park Ave.
Adjacent to the University of Redlands with a beautiful rose garden.

A 23.3 acre park with open grassy areas, picnic areas, a playground, a stage/bandstand area, a skate park, a baseball/softball field, horseshoe pits, bag toss (cornhole), lawn bowling, and trails.

Texonia Park

Location: Texas St. & Lugonia Avenue

A 10.7 acre neighborhood park with a lighted soccer field, basketball courts, picnic and playground facilities.

Texonia Park is open for Atheltic field reservations 
Reservation hours are:
Monday-Friday 4:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-3:00pm.
