—————————————————————————————————————————–

Hillside Memorial Park was established in 1886 by local pioneers Frank Brown and Edward Judson to serve the needs of the community of Redlands. Hillside Memorial Park has been owned and operated by the City of Redlands since 1918. The cemetery is located in the southwestern section of the City in an area of scenic rolling hills. Our cemetery grounds have an approximate 53 acres making Hillside Memorial Park the largest city-owned cemetery in California. Of those 53 acres there are 13 acres that are left undeveloped and available for future cemetery development projects.

City staff is working on consolidating all burial records into one file. Until the consolidation project is completed, please email your map locations to avalles@cityofredlands.org. We ask that you add the name of the individual you are searching for in the subject line before sending your email.  Please note that you would be provided with a grave location and map only. If you need to obtain a genealogical certificate, please call the office at (909) 798-7569 to coordinate payment for said certificate and provide staff with an email address where the certificate will be sent to. We thank you for your patience.
