Nostalgic look at Orange Show Speedway at Dessert & Dialogue


Oct. 10, 2017 – Join the Redlands Community Senior Center’s Dessert and Dialogue beginning at 12:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, for a nostalgic visit to the San Bernardino Orange Show Speedway with Don Harkey.

Harkey was a race car driver, winning many events. He will discuss the history of auto racing, race tracks and the role the speedway had in the history of San Bernardino.

Dessert and Dialogue is a free program open to the public that takes place after the senior nutritional lunch program at the Redlands Community Senior Center. Hot meals are served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The hot meals are available to all adults. A donation of $3 is suggested for those 60 or older, and guests under 60 may enjoy lunch for $6.
