Intuitive Eating is topic for next Dessert and Dialogue
June 1, 2017 – Learn about Intuitive Eating with guest speaker Vanessa Schmidt, MPH, RD at the Redlands Community Senior Center’s Dessert and Dialogue program from noon to 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 5.
The focus of this discussion is behavior modification. It is not
a diet. Participants will learn to listen to their body’s hunger
signals and develop a healthy relationship with food based on
intuition not emotions. Healthy snacks will be provided including
non-fat plain yogurt topped with blueberries and sliced almonds,
and fruit salad with granola.
Dessert and Dialogue is a free program open to the public that
takes place after the senior nutritional lunch program at the
Redlands Community Senior Center. Hot meals are served Monday
through Friday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The hot meals are
available to all adults. A donation of $3 is suggested for those
60 or older, and guests under 60 can enjoy lunch for
$6.
Future Desert and Dialogue Presentations include:
The early days of San Bernardino County
