Household Hazardous Waste facility closed for Labor Day weekend

Aug. 15, 2017 – The City of Redlands Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off facility will be closed Saturday, Sept. 2, in observance of Labor Day weekend. Normal hours for the site, Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will resume Saturday, Sept. 9.

The Household Hazardous Waste site is located at 500 Kansas St. During operating hours, residents can dispose of household materials including, e-waste, outdated prescription medication (with the exception of controlled substances), outdated pet prescription medication, paint products, chemical cleaners, pesticides, fertilizers, hobby/pool supplies, automotive oil, filters, brake fluid, transmission fluid, anti-freeze, gasoline, and propane tanks.

The site does not accept business waste, radioactive wastes, medical waste, explosives, reactives, or asbestos. For additional information, visit the City’s website at http://www.cityofredlands.org/fire/hazmat.
