Dessert and Dialogue hosts Norton Air Force Base Museum president


Sept. 5, 2017 – “To Preserve, Honor & Promote the history of the Norton Air Force Base” is the Mission of the Norton Air Force Base Museum. Join the Redlands Community Senior Center’s Dessert and Dialogue for the legacy of the Norton Air Force Base with museum president Bob Edwards at 12:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18. 

Edwards will discuss the history of Norton Air Force Base and how it was used for training more than 30,000 pilots and providing airlift and food services to air and ground combat units worldwide. Edwards has 39 combined years of aircraft experience in various capacities including 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and 19 years as an aerospace contractor.

Dessert and Dialogue is a free program open to the public. It takes place after the senior nutritional lunch program at the Redlands Community Senior Center. Hot meals are served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The hot meals are available to all adults. A donation of $3 is suggested for those 60 or older, and guests under 60 may enjoy lunch for $6.
