Sept. 6, 2018 – The City Council continues their popular Coffee with the Council from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Olive Avenue Market, 530 W. Olive Ave. Council members Eddie Tejeda and Toni Momberger will attend.

Coffee with the Council began in February 2011 as part of the City’s continuing efforts to increase interaction with residents and promote transparency in City affairs.

The informal meetings are scheduled regularly as a way for residents to ask questions or share concerns outside the formal setting of a City Council meeting. The final Coffee with the Council meeting for 2018 is scheduled for Nov. 17 at the Redlands Community Center, 111 W. Lugonia Ave.

In addition, in 2017 Council members began a series of Walking with the Council meetings held along several of the City’s walking trails. The final Walking with the Council meeting for the year is scheduled from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Santa Ana River Trail (future alignment), starting at Cave Street and Riverview Drive

Council members rotate attendance for both Coffee with the Council and Walking with the Council, with no more than two council members at each meeting.
