Register for Emergency Notification
The City of Redlands Emergency Notification System has been implemented in order to communicate emergency and other urgent messages to residents and community members within Redlands.
The system uses both text and voice messages to keep residents and community members in Redlands informed in case of emergencies that affect areas in which they live or work. With this information, residents and businesses can make arrangements to help ensure the safety of family members, employees, pets, and property in the event of fires, floods, earthquakes, or other types of disasters.
In the event of an emergency, residents and community members will receive a message with the latest information and safety instructions.
The system is programmed to know whether or not the message has been delivered to a person, recorded to voicemail, or was not delivered due to a telephone system error. The system will continue to attempt to deliver its message until the message is successfully delivered to a person, or until the message expires.
The system utilizes the area's 9-1-1 database, provided by the local telephone company, and thus is able to contact land-line telephones whether listed or unlisted.
Register Your Mobile Device or Email
If you have a Voice over IP (VoIP) or cellular telephone and would like to be notified over that device, or if you would like to receive notification by email or text, you must register those telephone numbers and/or email addresses for use by the system. To register your VoIP, cellular telephone or email address, please enter the Self-Registration Portal at https://redlands.onthealert.com/ and provide the desired information. Each number and/or email provided will be added to the database. You will receive a confirming email message to the address entered below once you have successfully registered. Your information will be kept strictly confidential.
The system calls from phone number (909) 335-4811 and email appears from email@example.com. We recommend adding these to your address book and spam email white-list.
Use abbreviations for the street direction and type: 123 N Church St not 123 North Church Street .
