Redlands Community Senior Center offers adults 50 years of age & older the opportunity to interact with other seniors in a warm, caring environment. The Center is open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. excluding holidays.

The Center is dedicated to offering a variety of classes and activities including bingo, bunco, craft class, computer classes, exercise class, Tai Chi, the Redlands Walkers, quilting classes, and The Never Alone Program. The Center also plans trips and excursions to various locations throughout southern California.

The Senior Center has a video lending library as well as a small library well stocked with books and puzzles! Special events are planned throughout the year! Dances, BBQ's, Arts & Crafts Fairs, Holiday Parties, and Pot Luck Dinners are all part of the fun!

Drop by and join in the fun! Come and share a talent, make new friends, enjoy a great lunch, and get involved in the activities and programs of the Redlands Community Senior Center.

County of San Bernardino Department of Aging and Adult Services

The Redlands Community Senior Center houses the San Bernardino County Department of Aging and Adult Services Senior Information and Assistance Program. This program is designed to help seniors and disabled adults find the resources to solve problems and obtain services. The office is open every Thursday from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. County Nutrition Site

Senior citizens, 60 years of age and older, are served a hot lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room in the Community Senior Center. Persons under 60 years of age may purchase lunch for $5.00. Reservations are  required. To make a reservation please call (909) 793-6999 or (909) 798-7579.

Book & Video Lending Library

Be sure to visit the wonderful video and book library. The book and video lending library operate Monday through Friday. Books may be kept as long as they are needed. A maximum of three videos may be checked out for a maximum of three days. Lending libraries are free of charge to seniors.

Enrichment Classes

Open ScrapBooking Class

Join us for an Afternoon of crafty creations and bring your unfinished craft works. Projects include handmade cards, gift tags, and beautiful scrapbooking pages.

Computer Class

Want to learn basic computer skills in a structured class environment?  This class is for you!  No previous computer experience is necessary.  Students will learn how to work and what you can do with a computer, word processing and more.  Instructed by Fred Demke.

Tai Chi Class

It is a psychological and movement practice that helps improve mental and physical faculties that may have slowed as a result of the aging process. This ancient Chinese exercise brings relaxation and well being by emphasizing balanced postures, slow breathing, and calmness.

Social Activities

Afternoon Movies

The Senior Cinema shows free movies on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Refreshments are served. Join us for the latest releases and classic movies too! Donations are appreciated.

Bingo

Meets every Thursday from 10:00-11:30 a.m. and 2:30-4:00 p.m. come join the fun while you make new friends. A variety of different bingo games are played. Cards are 25 cents a peice.

Bunco

Bunco is a fun, fast paced dice game. Prizes are awarded for the most Buncos won, the highest score and the booby prize winner.

Coffee and Conversation

A delicious continental breakfast is served every Thursday. The cost is $2.00 per person for a full breakfast that consists of cereal and milk, fruit, pastry, coffee and juice. Snacks are available for $1.00, coffee alone is $.25. Come and socialize with friends while enjoying a wonderful breakfast.

Monthly Dances

Dances are held throughout the year with a live band or keyboard/vocalist.  A catered dinner is served 5:30-6:00 pm with dancing from 6:00-8:00 pm. Join us for friends, fun, and great music!

Monthly Potluck

Health and Exercise programs

Blood Pressure Readings

Free blood pressure readings from a registered nurse are available on the first Monday of every month in the dining room. Appointments are not required. Come on over! A small

donation is appreciated.

FSA Counseling

Family Services Association is offering free individual counseling to all seniors every Thursday. Counseling includes depression, anxiety, achieving personal goals, and many more. To make an appointment please call the FSA clinic at (951) 369 - 8036. So come on down and speak to a counselor one on one.

Redlands Walkers

Want a safe place to walk? Then the Redlands Walkers Group is for you! Make new friends while getting fit at the same time! Participants walk in the Community Center gym. Walkers register their laps walked in the office. Join the fun!

Inland Counties Legal Services

Offered on the first Thursday of every month by appointment. Provided by Inland Counties Legal Services. Please call the Senior Center for a half hour appointment. Donations appreciated.

Never Alone Program

This wonderful program is for seniors and the disabled living alone. Participants will receive a daily assurance telephone call from a pre-screened volunteer. To register for this program, please call the Senior Center office. Volunteer callers are also needed. Please contact the Center for an application.

Women’s Discussion Group

This group meets on Monday mornings at the Senior Center.  Women have the opportunity to meet with their peers for discussions on topics of interest that pertain to their lives.  Facilitated by Jill Spellman, MSW.

Facility Rental

Reservations / Refunds

All payments and deposits are due, in full, two weeks prior to the event date in order to secure the reservation. All cancellations must be made 14 days in advance of the reservation date. All refunds, except cleaning deposit, shall be subject to a ten percent (10%) administrative fee.

    • Established in 1988, Redlands Market Night has established itself as one of the most successful certified farmers markets in Southern California! Vendors vie to participate in the event that has attracted thousands of weekly visitors since its inception. Crowds are pleasantly surrounded by over 150 food and merchandise booths, not to mention the downtown shopkeepers, every Thursday night.

      The Saturday Morning Certified Farmers’ Market began June 6, 2009, bringing local growers to the City parking lot south of Redlands Boulevard between Fifth and Sixth streets near Ed Hales Park. The market operates from 8 to 11 a.m. every Saturday, excluding holiday weekends.
