The City Council will consider a conceptual plan for the proposed Redlands Skate Park at their meeting Tuesday, June 21. The City Council meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Redlands City Council Chambers, 35 Cajon St.

Upon approval of the conceptual plan, staff in the City’s Quality of Life Department will begin finalizing design, setting criteria for a naming competition, completing the environmental review and identifying funding sources to construct the skate park. This project was designed with input from the community over several public workshops and will accommodate all variations of riders and levels of experience.

The planned skate park will be located at Sylvan Park, at the site of the old Sylvan Plunge.
