The first Walking with the Council meeting is scheduled for March 17 on the eastern portion of the Orange Blossom Trail, beginning at Grove Street.

Coffee with the Council was begun in February 2011 as part of the City’s continuing efforts to increase interaction with residents and promote transparency in City affairs.

  • April 21 - Stell Coffee & Tea Company, 1580 Barton Road, Suite A;

  • Sept. 15 - Olive Avenue Market, 530 W. Olive Ave.
  • Nov. 17 – Redlands Community Center, 111 W. Lugonia Ave.

In addition, in 2017 Council members began a series of Walking with the Council meetings held along several of the City’s walking trails. The schedule for Walking with the Council is below:

  • March 17 – Orange Blossom Trail - east, beginning at the trail and Grove Street;
  • May 19 – Orange Blossom Trail - west, beginning at the trail and Redlands Boulevard, near California Street. Parking is available in the Walmart/Food for Less parking lot on the north side of Redlands Boulevard;
  • July 21 – Orange Blossom Trail - east, beginning at the railroad trestle on the Orange Blossom Trail near Center/Texas Street and Redlands Boulevard;
  • Oct. 20 – Santa Ana River Trail (future alignment), starting at Cave Street and Riverview Drive

Council members rotate attendance for both Coffee with the Council and Walking with the Council, with no more than two council members at each meeting.
