The Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles will perform at the Redlands Community Center on Wednesday, July 27, from 2 to 2:45 p.m.

The Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles was founded in 2011 by Kareli Montoya. Though young, the dance company has already performed in several well-known venues such as the Nokia Theater, Greek Theatre, John Anson Ford Amphitheater, Disneyland, Disney’s California Adventure, StubHub Center, Orange County Fair and the Los Angeles County Fair. The dance company has also shared the stage with Mariachi Los Companeros de Nati Cano and celebrities such as Lila Downs, Beatriz Adriana, her daughter B.A. Solis, and Paquita la del Barrio. The company’s members captivate diverse audiences with their youthful and energetic presence.

Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles will be joined by six members of Los Angeles-based Mariachi de Garabaldi for its program at the Redlands Community Center. There will be four dancers and six musicians.

The performance is sponsored by the Redlands Community Music Association through its Arts Impact Initiative, which brings dynamic music workshops to youth served at local community-based agencies.

The Redlands Community Center is located at 111 W. Lugonia Ave. For more information, please call the Redlands Community Center at (909) 798-7572 or e-mail Community Center staff at RecreationStaff@cityofredlands.org.
